Yes, crowd funding works for Theatre also!

Talking about their theatre performance titled Brishti, finally… Anindita Bhadra delves into the interesting experience of her getting acquainted with the concept of crowd funding. She fondly recalls the rigorous process of preparing the pitch and simultaneously accepts the extreme utility of social networking in this regard. She sounds totally in awe of the fact that suddenly she could reach out to so many people with her craft; not just audience but to actual people as the geo-political boundaries suddenly seem to vanish. She considers the play a genuine collective effort in terms of funding as well as performance.
